Purchase this for my husband this Christmas. While he has not seen it, I inspected it upon receipt of the briefcase. It is far nicer than I had anticipated. It truly exceeded my expectations!Has a lot of pockets and plenty of room for his computer plus other business papers. I think he will be absolutely thrilled with this briefcase. I can hardly wait for him to open this gift up on Christmas Morning!

I have another, more expensive, leather laptop bag by Korchmar...also a great bag...that has their magnet closures, which I love. But that's more of a briefcase type bag (kind of a harder/wire frame to it, and the leather is "stiffer". It's also flat on one end so it stands up when you set it down). I wanted a 2nd bag that was more of a messenger bag, in a soft leather. I was skeptical about this bag, but it got great reviews, both here and on other sites. And it's prices was quite good. So I figured I'd take a shot.

Boy, I'm glad I did. The photos don't do it justice. It's a nice, supple leather. I was also very surprised at how many compartments and pockets this thing has. Wow!

The buckles on the front are real, even though there are snaps to hold the flap closed. That means the buckles can be removed if you don't like the look. Very cool.

I prefer the Korchmar's magnet closures, and I suspect that bag will last longer as it seems tougher, but this one doesn't seem like a slouch. Time will tell on both, though, as I've only had both of them for a short time.

Anyway, I'm very impressed, especially for the price. We'll see how it holds up over time.
